Kendrapara District Court Jobs 2024: The District Court was inaugurated by Honorable Chief Justice of Odisha High Court V.Gopala Gowda along with Justices B.P. Das and L.K. Mohapatra. Cuttack District Judge SJ participated in the function. Shatrughan Pujahari, and First District Judge, SJ. Radhakrishna Patnaik.
Following the inauguration of the Court, the post of Registrar of Civil Courts was established on 24 August 2012, with Shri Sushant Kumar Patel being the first appointee. Additionally, the Government of Odisha set up 30 special track courts for crimes against women, our District Court started on 06 February 2013 inaugurated by Shri Bijoy Ketan Mohanty, District Judge Kendrapara.
Following the implementation of the Legal Services Authorities Act, of 1987, a permanent and perpetual Lok Adalat was established in 2001, headed by a Civil Judge (S.D.)-cum-Secretary, D.L.S.A. Presided over. Later, this role was transferred to the Registrar of Civil Courts.
On 16 April 2013, a separate office for the Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority was established with Shri Laxminarayan Roychoudhury as its first Secretary. The Court of Judge, Family Court Kendrapara was inaugurated on 15 July 2013 by Shri Bijoy Ketan Mohanty, Hon’ble District, and Sessions Judge, with Shri Bhaskar Chandra Sahu assuming the charge of the first Judge of the Family Court at Kendrapara.
