- Management Trainee (General): Degree of MBA specializing in Personnel Management, HR, Industrial Relations, Marketing Management, or Supply Chain Management
- Management Trainee (Technical): Post Graduate Degree in Agriculture with Entomology, Microbiology, Biochemistry or Biochemistry, or Zoology.
- Accountant: B.Com or B.A. (Commerce) or CA or Costs and Works Accountant or SAS Accountant from the Indian Audit and Accounts Department with 3 years experience.
- Superintendent (General): Post Graduate Degree in any discipline.
- Junior Technical Assistant: Degree in Agriculture or a Degree with Zoology, Chemistry, or Biochemistry as one of the subjects.
- Superintendent (General) – SRD (NE): Post Graduate Degree in any discipline.
- Junior Technical Assistant – SRD (NE): Degree in Agriculture Or a degree with Zoology, Chemistry, or Biochemistry as one of the subjects.
- Junior Technical Assistant – SRD (UT of Ladakh): Degree in Agriculture OR a degree with Zoology, Chemistry, or Biochemistry as one of the subjects.
