Educational Qualifications
- Dredge Cadets: Candidates should have a Diploma in Nautical Science (approved by DG Shipping).
- Trainee Marine Engineers: Candidates should have 4-year Degrees in Marine Engineering (IMU-affiliated colleges or DG Shipping-approved institutes).
- NCV (Trainees): Candidates should have passed the 10th class + Pre-Sea GP Rating Course (60% aggregate in Exit Exam).
- Trainee Electrical Officers: Candidates should have a Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Electronics & Telecommunication + ETO Course.

Salary Details
- Dredge Cadets pay ₹15,000/month + ₹600/day victualling allowance.
- Trainee Marine Engineers pay ₹25,000/month + ₹600/day victualling allowance.
- NCV (Trainees) Pay ₹10,000/month + ₹405/day victualling allowance.
- Trainee Electrical Officers Pay ₹25,000/month + ₹600/day victualling allowance.
