IIT Bombay Recruitment 2025: The Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IIT Bombay) has released a Non-Teaching notification for 16 Posts at www.iitb.ac.in for the recruitment of eligible candidates. The Jr. Mechanic, Technical Officer, Sr. Medical Officer and other posts are offered for filling applications in the prescribed form online mode.

Interested Degree holders who are selected for written exams and Interviews after applying for these mentioned posts and candidates submit online forms through the website portal www.iitb.ac.in before the last date 24 January 2025.

IIT Bombay has announced vacancies for Junior Mechanic, Technical Officer and other posts. Whose online registration will be open on the official website from 26, 28 and 30 December 2024

Educational Qualifications

• Student Counselor (on Contract): Master’s Degree in Psychology / Clinical Psychology / Social Psychology with 06 years.
• Technical Officer (Scale-I): B.Tech. / B.E./ M.Sc. or an equivalent degree in Information Technology/ Computer Science/ Electronics / Electronics & Telecommunication or appropriate discipline OR M.Tech / M.E.
• Jr. Mechanic: 3-year diploma in Electrical Engineering/ Electronics & Communication Engineering/ Electrical & Telecommunication Engineering/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering/ Instrumentation Technology OR ITI in Electrician/ Electronics Mechanic trade.
• Technical Officer (Scale I): B.E. / B. Tech in Safety & Fire Engineering OR B. E. / B. Tech in Electrical/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering and M.E./ M.Tech in Industrial Safety.
• Jr. Mechanic (Backlog Vacancy): 3-year diploma in Mechanical or Instrumentation Engineering, or ITI in Machinist, Fitter, Instrument Mechanic, or Electrician trade.
• Jr. Mechanic: ITI in Machinist, Fitter, Welder, Turner, or Mechanic Machine Tool Maintenance trade.
• Jr. Mechanic (Civil Engg.) – NGCF Lab: 3-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering or, a Bachelor’s degree (other than B.Tech./B.E.) in Electrical, Electrical and Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Jr. Mechanic (Civil Engg.) – HS Lab: 3-year Diploma in Civil Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Jr. Mechanic (IEOR): ITI in Machinist, Fitter, Welder, Grinder, Turner, Hydraulics, Auto Engineering, CNC Mechanic, Electrical, or Machine Tool Maintenance trade. Alternatively, a 3-year diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Telecommunication, Electrical & Electronics, Instrumentation Technology, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Technical Officer (Scale I): B.Tech/B.E. in any discipline, or MCA, or M.Sc. in Information Technology or Computer Science.
• Jr. Mechanic (IEOR): 3-year Diploma in Engineering in Computer Science/IT or equivalent discipline or equivalent.
• Jr. Mechanic (Backlog Vacancy): 3-year diploma in Mechanical or Instrumentation Engineering, or ITI in Machinist, Fitter, Instrument Mechanic, or Electrician trade.
• Sr. Medical Officer (Scale A): M.B.B.S. degree with a Postgraduate specialization in Psychiatry.
• Sr. Medical Officer (Scale A): M.B.B.S. degree with a Postgraduate specialization in Medicine.

Age Limit

• Candidates’ age limit should be Minimum 27 years and Maximum 50 years.
• Age Relaxation: – SC/ ST /OBC/PWD/ PH Candidates Relaxation as per Government Rules.
