NFR Recruitment 2025: Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has announced 1856 posts on a contract basis through the re-employment of retired employees. NFR is inviting online applications for vacancies for candidates appointed for one year in various departments and units.
The salary of all 65-year-old interested candidates will be fixed during the contract period without any increment or allowance. Interested and eligible candidates can apply under NFR Recruitment 2025 till 28 February 2025 at nfr.indianrailways.gov.in.

Educational Qualifications
- Retired railway employees who were in pay levels 1 to 9 at the time of their retirement are eligible to apply. Applicants must not have been part of the Safety-Related Retirement Scheme (LARSGESS).
Age Limit as of 1st January 2025
- Candidates’ age limit should be 64 years of age as of 28 February 2025 and the maximum age for re-engagement is 65 years.
- Age Relaxation: – SC/ ST /OBC/PWD/ PH Candidates Relaxation as per Government Rules.
