- Project Scientist – II: M.E. / M.Tech (Relevant Engg)/M.Sc. (Marine Biology/Marine Science/Zoology/ Microbiology)/PG or equivalent.
- Project Scientist – I: B.E/ B. Tech (Relevant Engg)/M.Sc. (Marine Biology/Marine Science/Zoology/ Microbiology Biotechnology/ Marine Biotechnology)/ PG or equivalent.
Project Scientific Assistant: Diploma (Relevant Engg)/Degree (Relevant Discipline) or equivalent. - Project Technician: 10th Class, ITI (Relevant Trade) or equivalent Project Field Assistant: 12th pass or equivalent.
- Project Junior Assistant: Any Degree or equivalent.
- Research Associate (RA): Doctoral Degree/M.Tech or equivalent.
- Senior Research Fellow (SRF): B.E./B.Tech or equivalent (Biotechnology/Bioinformatics/ Ocean Technology), M.Sc. in Marine Biology/Marine Science / Microbiology/Biotechnology/Bioinformatics or equivalent.
